Executive Profiles Chief Executive Officer Therese Taylor joined Colony 47 as CEO in December 2006. Therese has high level managment experience in both government and the private sector. Most recently she held senior government positions including General Manager, Drysdale Institute of Tafe, Director, Office of Vocational Education and Training and General Manager Departemnt of Economic Development. Therese holds a degree in Journalism (UQ), Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Education (UNE) and Grad Diploma Management (UTAS) Manager Operations Kate Churchil joined Colony 47 in February 2008 as the Manager Operations after having previously worked in the Tasmanian public service for 13 years encompassing the provision of financial services for the Legislative Council, finance and procurement services for the Department of Treasury and Finance, project management and support to the General Manager Corporate Services - Department Infrastructure and Energy and Resources, Manager Portfolio Services for the Office of the Secretary – Department of Health and Human Services. Kate has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania. Chief Financial Officer Heather McCallum joined Colony 47 in April 2006. Heather moved from Canada to Australia with Ernst & Young in 1996 and has extensive volunteer and commercial experience. Heather was CFO of a Sydney software and web design company prior to relocating to Tasmania. Heather has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and is a Chartered Accountant. Human Resources Manager Richard Rollins has worked for Colony 47 as Human Resource Manager since April 2007. Richard has a broad an extensive knowledge of human resources and industrial relations gained from spending six years as a Workplace Relations Adviser with the TCCI. During this time Richard provided workplace relations advice and advocacy services to many diverse industries including the community services sector. Richard has a degree in Industrial Relations and Politics from the University of Wollongong. [back]
