Manager Youth & Family Services

Colony 47 has created the new position of Manager Youth & Family Services to have an important part in the future direction and to operate at a strategic level across Colony 47 to ensure ongoing exceptional service to clients. An exciting feature of this position will be the opportunity to drive the development of programs and services in relation to families and young people

This dynamic new position involves building relationships within the community, government and private sectors to identify and pursue opportunities for growth while maintaining the current services. A key element of this role will be providing professional supervision to staff and developing counseling and case management skills within the team.

It is desirable that the successful candidate have experience in the following:

  • Managing budgets and contracts
  • Leading teams to achieve set goals
  • Identifying and developing new funding sources and

business opportunities

  • Change management
  • Implementing new systems and processes
  • Building a community profile

Colony 47 Family Services has a position available within its Reconnect team.

Reconnect is a Youth Homelessness Early Intervention Program which aims to reconnect young people aged between 12 and 18 years and their families. The position involves the provision of professional case management services to young people and their families.

We are looking for people with knowledge in a range of areas such as counselling, mediation, group work and evaluation.

The successful candidates must have relevant qualifications and preferably experience in working with young people and parents. If you’re excited about the possibility of working within our Family Services team and the potential to develop your skills and knowledge then one of these positions may be for you.
