Direct Tenancy Program - DTP

Colony 47 operates the Direct Tenancy Program to support young people aged between 16-25 years to live independently by providing practical help to set up their homes and assistance with budgeting. New tenants are provided with an environmental and a basic support pack that includes energy saving devices, information, vouchers and basic cleaning products.

Colony 47 can also assist young people to buy whitegoods (depending on their circumstances).

The Direct Tenancy Program also provides support to young people who have moved to Hobart from rural areas to undertake further schooling or training opportunities.
